Good Partner is back with a new rival in town. Park Hae Jin joins Season 2 of the hit legal drama as Park Tae Soo, a capable lawyer and savvy businessman who will clash with Cha Eun Kyung (Jang Nara). The new season premieres on November 20 at 9:50 p.m. KST.

Following the success of Season 1, the new season depicts the cathartic divorce show that unfolds as Cha Eun Kyung, a star lawyer for whom divorce is her calling, and Kang Hye Sung (Kim Hye Yoon), an experienced lawyer serious about divorce, become each other’s “good partner.” Park Tae Soo, lead attorney of law firm Tae Soo, aims to stand at the very top of the legal divorce scene.

Park Tae Soo built his fame through his YouTube channel “Tae Soo by law,” which boasts 200,000 subscribers, and he is described as a lawyer with sharp business insight. Newly released stills show him consulting clients with a confident, gentle smile and a refined aura, and going on the offensive in the courtroom when victory and gain are on the line.
His core principle is that lawyers exist to serve customers, with the client’s gain above everything else. That business-first mindset puts him on a collision course with Cha Eun Kyung of Rebom as the two aim for the top position in divorce law.

Park Hae Jin said he readily accepted the offer for a show he enjoyed watching, but admitted feeling pressure joining a project whose first season was a hit. He called Park Tae Soo the most practical character in Good Partner 2, noting that in a generation of self-promotion, Tae Soo makes the right choices as both a lawyer and an entrepreneur.
He also teased a lighter side, describing Tae Soo as a breathing hole that relieves tension in the drama’s heavier moments. “His cute and playful nature will be Tae Soo’s charming point,” the actor said.
