“White Blast” follows Gap Soo (Kim Yun Seok), a stationmaster nearing retirement, and his newly appointed successor Hyun Taek (Koo Kyo Hwan), who discover a mysterious body at a rural train station cut off by a heavy snowstorm.
The newly released stills capture the unpredictable situations unfolding throughout Seoloh Station — Gap Soo’s startled expression answering a phone call in the station office, Hyun Taek holding a broom in front of a tunnel, and the characters standing beside a police car on a snowy night.
Guns, Shovels and Blood: What the Stills Reveal
The tension spikes in images of Gap Soo pointing a gun and Hyun Taek gripping a shovel, raising questions about the incident between the two men. Scenes of the pair facing off in a tense standoff, plus Hyun Taek wiping blood from his face, heighten the mystery of what really happened at the station.
The arrival of the police pushes the incident into a new phase: Inspector Choi (Park Soo Young) confronts Gap Soo in the chaotic station office, while Officer Yang (Roh Yoon Seo) keeps a close watch on Hyun Taek. Their contrasting expressions add another layer of suspense to the locked-in, snowbound setting.
