By AEW loves a good mystery, and this week’s Collision delivered one. A cryptic 25-second vignette aired during the show, teasing what appears to be the arrival of a new star — and it has fans guessing.

The video package is short but loaded with imagery. It features repeated shots of a metronome ticking away, intercut with a person conducting music with their hands. There are also shots of someone walking down a set of steps and sprinting across a training ring. The combination of musical and athletic imagery has set off a wave of speculation about who is coming.
Who Could It Be?
AEW has a history of using these teaser vignettes to build anticipation for debuts, and the musical motif is an intriguing choice. A conductor-like figure, a metronome, and training-ring footage could point to a performer with an artistic or theatrical persona — or it could be a deliberate red herring. As of now, AEW has not confirmed any name, and Fightful notes that more details are expected as the debut draws closer.
AEW’s Vignette Track Record
When AEW rolls out mystery videos, the payoff is usually worth the wait. These packages are designed to be dissected frame by frame, and the wrestling world will spend the week before WrestleDream debating every clue. Whether it is a free agent signing, a returning star with a new look, or a completely fresh face, the tease has already done its job: everyone is talking.
Fans should keep an eye on the coming days — AEW rarely lets a mystery like this sit unresolved for long.
