A Tour That Keeps Growing
Fantastica Mania has become one of the most beloved traditions on the international wrestling calendar, pairing CMLL’s high-flying lucha libre style with NJPW’s passionate Japanese fanbase. The 2027 edition continues the tour’s three-week format, hitting Osaka, Tokyo, Sendai, Nagoya, and Takamatsu along the way.
Match lineups have not been announced yet — those typically roll out closer to the tour — but the event’s track record speaks for itself. Past editions have delivered dream pairings between luchadores and Japanese stars that fans can’t see anywhere else, and the Korakuen Hall finales regularly produce some of the most electric atmospheres of the wrestling year.
In the meantime, fans don’t have to wait until February for their CMLL-NJPW fix: the two promotions also have November’s Lucha Kingdom show on the horizon, keeping the cross-promotional relationship front and center as one of the hottest partnerships in wrestling today.
