Bad news for CMLL’s Amazonas division. La Jarochita is sidelined again — this time for three to four months — after suffering a left wrist injury, she revealed during her appearance on the October 14th episode of CMLL Informa.

The luchadora appeared on the program wearing a wrist brace on her left wrist and delivered the tough update herself. In a cruel twist, Jarochita had just gotten the green light to return from her previous injury when this new setback struck.
A Tag Team Title in Limbo
The timing is especially frustrating given Jarochita’s status. She is one-half of the CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside Lluvia, and she’s been a fixture of CMLL since 2016. With her out for up to four months, the future of the tag titles — and her championship reign — hangs in the balance.
CMLL’s official social media account confirmed the news in Spanish: “¡Una noticia desafortunada para las Amazonas! La Jarochita estará fuera de acción entre 3 y 4 meses debido a una nueva lesión que la mantendrá alejada de los cuadriláteros.”
An All-Women’s Card on the Horizon
The injury comes at an awkward moment for CMLL, which has its all-women’s card coming up on October 16th — just days after the announcement. Jarochita would almost certainly have featured prominently on that show; now her fellow Amazonas will have to carry the card without her.
Fans can only hope this latest setback doesn’t undo the progress from her previous recovery. For now, the Amazonas division moves on — but La Jarochita will be sorely missed in the ring.
