Austin Creed has broken his silence after losing the AEW World Trios Championship at AEW WrestleDream. Taking to social media after the show, the New Day member-turned-AEW faction man kept it short and defiant: “They got us last night. But we are just getting started…”

The title change went down when Swerve Strickland and New Level (Creed and Kofi) put the gold on the line against Hangman Adam Page and Brodido (Brody King and Bandido). When the dust settled, new trios champions were crowned and the 48-day reign was over.
A short but eventful reign
Strickland and New Level originally captured the Trios Title at AEW All In, winning the Trios Roulette Royale to earn the belts. Forty-eight days later, the combination of Hangman Page’s momentum and Brodido’s firepower proved too much.
Creed’s reaction suggests the story is far from finished. Rather than dwelling on the loss, his message framed it as the opening chapter of something bigger — a classic setup for a rematch angle.
What comes next for New Level?
Whether New Level invokes a rematch clause or pivots to a new feud, the faction clearly isn’t going quietly. Creed’s post has fans speculating about what the group has planned next, and with the trios division heating up, a WrestleDream fallout episode should tell the story.
