Tiffany Stratton was seconds away from cashing in her Money in the Bank contract on the October 23 episode of WWE SmackDown — until her own impatience cost her the moment.
The chaos began after Chelsea Green retained her WWE Women’s Championship against Roxanne Perez, surviving interference from Raquel Rodriguez and a confrontation with IYO SKY at ringside. Green countered Perez’s Pop Rox and hit the UnprettiHER to keep her title.

Stratton Targets Liv Morgan — Then Loses the Moment
The match ending didn’t mean the trouble ended. Liv Morgan attacked Green immediately after the bell, and with Rodriguez and Perez joining in, the numbers turned against Green and SKY. That’s when Stratton’s music hit.
Stratton stormed the ring with her Money in the Bank briefcase, took out Perez, Morgan, and Rodriguez, and handed the briefcase to the referee — the official signal of a cash-in. Morgan tried to turn the briefcase against Stratton, but IYO cut her off with a strike, and Stratton answered with a kick.
Then Stratton made her fatal mistake: instead of letting the referee make it official, she decided to hit Morgan with the briefcase first. While she argued with the referee, Perez and Rodriguez dragged Morgan to safety. The match never started — Stratton still holds her Money in the Bank contract.
What This Means for Crown Jewel
Stratton made her intentions crystal clear: she wants Morgan’s Women’s World Championship, but The Judgment Day protected their champion this time. With Morgan also scheduled to face Green at Crown Jewel, Stratton looming with the briefcase could blow up both title pictures.
