Stephanie Vaquer is not cleared for her scheduled bout with Becky Lynch, WWE Raw general manager Adam Pearce revealed at the start of this week’s Raw. The match was set to crown a new number one contender to the Women’s World Championship.

Pearce opened the show standing in the ring, and after welcoming fans, he got straight to business with the update on Vaquer. Fightful notes it will update fans when more is known about Vaquer’s injury.
Becky Lynch Granted Women’s World Title Match Against Liv Morgan
With Vaquer out of the picture, Pearce revealed that Lynch will skip the contender process entirely. Instead, Lynch will face Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship later in the show.
That is a major shortcut to a title shot, and it changes the shape of the women’s division on Raw in a single announcement. Lynch goes from a number one contender’s match to a championship match, while Morgan now has a title defence she did not expect at the start of the night.
For Vaquer, the immediate concern is her health and when she will be cleared to return. Until that update comes, the title picture moves on without her.
