Published

on

Bandai Namco Entertainment‘s My Hero Academia: All’s Justice game announced on Wednesday that it will add Nana Shimura as the game’s second DLC character. The character is launching for PC via Steam on Wednesday, and for PlayStation 4 and Xbox Series X|S on Thursday at midnight local time.

The game added Star and Stripe as the first DLC character as part of the season pass in February.

The game launched worldwide on February 6 (February 5 in Japan) for PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

The game has Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate Editions. The Deluxe Edition includes the Season Pass of five DLC packs, and the Ultimate Edition also adds seven HUD banners and 20 costumes.

The roster includes Izuku Midoriya (Rising, One for All), All for One (Regular, Chaos), Tomura Shigaraki (All for One), All for One (Rewind), Himiko Toga, Dabi (Flame of Death), All Might (Armored), Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, Ochaco Uraraka, Tenya Iida, Tsuyu Asui, Momo Yaoyorozu, Denki Kaminari, Mina Ashido, Kyoka Jiro, Eijiro Kirishima, Minoru Mineta, Fumikage Tokoyami, Toru Hagakure, Yuga Aoyama, Mashirao Ojiro, Nezo Shoji, Koji Koda, Rikido Sato, Hanta Sero, Mei Hatsume, Hitoshi Shinso, Itsuka Kendo, Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, Mirio Togata, Tamaki Amajiki, Nejire Hado, Endeavor, Hawks, Shota Aizawa, Present Mic, Best Jeanist, Midnight, Fat Gum, Sir Nighteye, Edge Shot, Neito Monoma, Mirko, Gang Orca, Inasa Yoarashi, Camie Utsushimi, Seiji Shishikura, Kurogiri, Stain, Gentle & La Brava, and Lady Nagant.

The fighting game centers around the manga’s final battle, and for the first time on consoles, features all the students from Class 1-A with their final powers and techniques. The game includes Team Up Missions on a new map, Archives Battle to replay fights from the series, and a Story Mode that covers the series’ final arc from hero and villain perspectives. The Hero’s Diary centers on the various characters.

The company describes the game mechanics:

In MY HERO ACADEMIA: All’s Justice, players will engage in 3v3 battles where victory is achieved by eliminating every member of the opposing team. The tag team system allows players to switch between fighters, opening opportunities to extend combos, counter enemy tactics, or turn defense into offense with well-timed swaps. Combat revolves around four core actions: Target Combo, Counter Attack, Guard, and Unblockable Attack, alongside tactical options like Evade and Counter Crash to escape danger. Players can build their Plus Ultra gauge for a chance to unleash the Plus Ultra Combo, a devastating finisher where all three fighters combine their quirk abilities for massive damage. Adding even more intensity to battles is Rising!, a special state that enhances attack power, movement speed, and recovery. Rising can be activated once the gauge is filled, giving players the edge they need to seize victory. When the fight comes down to a single character, Rising! activates automatically, turning the tide of battle.

Kōhei Horikoshi ended the magazine serialization of the original My Hero Academia manga in August 2024 (although he added 38 pages of new content in the manga’s 42nd and final compiled book volume in December 2024). The anime adaptation premiered its final season on October 4. The anime’s bonus episode titled “More,” based on the manga’s extra 431st chapter following the original finale, aired on May 2.

4 of Dragon Ball Z’s Goku Voice Actors Perform Kamehameha Together – Interest

Published

on

If you thought a Kamehameha from one Son Goku from Dragon Ball Z was powerful, what about four? That very moment was captured by Mexican voice actor Georgina Sanchez last week. As four of the voices behind Son Goku, Masako Nozawa (Japanese, front and center), Mario Castañeda (Spanish, left), Sean Schemmel (English, center back), and Ankur Javeri (Hindi, right) performed the move before the Tokyo X convention in Houston.

Nozawa, Castaneda, Schemmel, and Javeri appeared at the Tokyo X convention at the Reliant Center in Houston, Texas between September 26 and 27.

Dragon Ball Z was the second anime series to adapt Akira Toriyama‘s Dragon Ball manga. The anime series premiered in April 1989 and continued until January 1996. It spawned several feature-length films and the truncated Dragon Ball Kai anime series in 2009.

Nozawa holds the Guinness World Record for “voice actor who voiced the same character in a video game for the longest period” and “longest video game voice acting career,” for her work as Son Goku. She won one of the 71st Kan Kikuchi Prizes “as a traiblazing representative of Japanese voice actors” in 2023. In her acceptance speech, she confidently stated she will continue voice acting until she is 182 years old. The Japanese government honored her as a Person of Cultural Merit in 2025. She released a new line of merchandise in late August 2026 in celebration of her 90th birthday.

Stranger Than Heaven Game Streams In-Depth Video Highlighting ‘Showbiz’ – News

Published

Sega began streaming an in-depth “showbiz” video for Ryu ga Gotoku Studio’s Stranger Than Heaven game (previously codenamed “Project Century”) on Friday. The video provides a detailed overview of finding musical inspiration, creating songs, and promoting shows in the game.

The game will launch on January 15 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The game will also be available via Game Pass.

The game will explore different times and places in Japan’s modern history, including Kokura, Fukuoka in 1915; Kure, Hiroshima in 1929; Minami, Osaka in 1943; Atami, Shizuoka in 1951; and the fictional neighborhood of Kamurocho (based on the Kabukicho neighborhood, and a constant setting of RGG Studio’s Yakuza/Like a Dragon games) in Shinjuku, Tokyo in 1965.

Sega describes the game’s story:

A 50-year saga of those with nowhere to go and their desperate struggle to find a home. In 1915 San Francisco, a young boy, Makoto Daito, sneaks aboard a suspicious ship in the harbor under the cover of night. Born to an American father and a Japanese mother, Makoto faces harsh persecution due to his Asian heritage.

After losing both of his parents, Makoto decides to travel to his mother’s homeland, Japan, where a fateful encounter awaits. With nothing but the shirt on his back, Makoto soon learns, however, that his voyage across the Pacific is anything but a “free ride,” and that this one choice will forever change the course of his life.

The cast includes:

  • Yū Shirota as Makoto Daito
  • Snoop Dogg as Orpheus
  • Moeka Hoshi as Tae Matsumoto
  • Tori Kelly as Suzy Day
  • Akio Ōtsuka as Heigo Yashima
  • Tokuma Nishioka as Kiyoshi Otsuru
  • Satoshi Fujihara as Takashi
  • Cordell Broadus as The Veiled Stranger
  • Ado as Keiko Shirai
  • Bunta Sugawara (model basis) and Takashi Ukaji (voice) as Genzo Iwaki
  • Late American rapper Tupac
  • Takaya Kuroda (who plays Kazuma Kiryu in Ryu ga Gotoku’s related Yakuza/Like a Dragon series)
  • Kouhei Tsuji
  • Yasukaze Motomiya (who plays Kosei Shishido in the Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name game and Kazuma Kiryu in Nihon Tohitsu’s live-action Like a Dragon Powered By Nihon Touitsu series)

Sega provided the following comment regarding the character Genzo Iwaki and the model for the character being based on the late actor Bunta Sugawara:

In STRANGER THAN HEAVEN, the late and legendary actor Bunta Sugawara appears. SEGA received formal consent from his family, and, with materials provided by Toei Company Ltd.—which produced many of Mr. Sugawara’s films, including the Battles Without Honor and Humanity— RGG Studio crafted his CG character design based on archival footage and photographs from the time.

Snoop Dogg, Satoshi Fujihara, Ado, and Tori Kelly perform the game’s theme song “Stranger Than Heaven.” The song will get a release this year.

The game is inspiring a live-action film on Netflix.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties, Ryu ga Gotoku Studio’s remake of the Yakuza 3 game along with the new standalone Dark Ties title, launched as a single release for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam worldwide on February 12.
