Hasbro Entertainment and multi-platform broadcast company Get After It Media (GAIM) officially launched Hasbro Legends, a new linear channel featuring Hasbro properties, on July 13.

The channel airs programming across GAIM’s broadcast network as well as on streaming platforms including Heartland+ and Plex. The 24-hour channel is available for free and is supported by ads.

The programming includes Duel Masters and other titles such as Transformers, Power Rangers, and G.I. Joe.

Hasbro originally announced the channel in April.

Crunchyroll announced on Monday that it will screen the world premiere for the first two episodes of the television anime of Haka Tokura‘s Magical Buffs: The Support Caster is Stronger Than He Realized! light novel series at this year’s Anime NYC event on August 22.

The anime will premiere in January, and will air on Tokyo MX, MBS, BS11, and 17 other channels, and will also stream on Netflix.

Hideki Okamoto (2.5 Dimensional Seduction, D.C. II: Da Capo II) is directing the anime at J.C. Staff, and Takao Yoshioka (Aharen-san wa Hakarenai, High School DxD, I’m Standing on 1,000,000 Lives.) is in charge of the series scripts. Yu Murakami is designing the characters based on the original novel illustrations by Eiri Shirai.

Yoshikazu Iwanami is directing the sound, and Yūki Hayashi (Haikyu!!, My Hero Academia, Observation Records of My Fiancée), Luke Standridge (Observation Records of My Fiancée), and Asa Taylor (Observation Records of My Fiancée) are composing the music. Ryō Aizawa (Aharen-san wa Hakarenai, Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It) is producing the project.

Seven Seas licensed the light novel series and its manga adaptation, and it describes the story:

Tokura launched the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō web platform in November 2020. Arakawa debuted the manga adaptation of the series on the Manga ga Ugau app in September 2021. Futabasha published the 11th compiled book volume on April 30.

Luffy is soon going to be king of the LEGO pirates in a new two-part “Lego One Piece“ animated special on Netflix this September. Ahead of the Straw Hat captain’s new blocky arrival, Netflix unveiled a new visual and trailer, revealing a returning cast from the live-action series:

The special will premiere on September 29 on Netflix.

The special will retell the first two seasons of the live-action One Piece series in animated LEGO glory. LEGO Usopp, the bravest and most truthful of the Straw Hats, will regale the crew’s epic tales to an unbelievably adorable LEGO Chopper.

Atomic Cartoons (Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends) is producing the special in collaboration with Shueisha and The Lego Group. Tom Hyndman serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer. Chelsea Ker is directing. Takuma Naito and Taro Goto are producers. Series creator Oda is also listed as an executive producer alongside LEGO’s Jill Wilfert, Keith Malone, and Lars Danielsen, and Tomorrow Studios‘ Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements.

The first batch of LEGO One Piece sets shipped in August 2025. Multiple official LEGO sets are available for fans to recreate Eiichiro Oda‘s long-running pirate saga.

The live-action One Piece series debuted exclusively on Netflix in August 2023. One Piece: Into the Grand Line, the second live-action season, debuted on Netflix on March 10. The first two episodes played in over 200 theaters in Canada, the United States, and Japan on the same day.

The third live-action season will premiere in 2027 under the name One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta.
