Seishun wa Sankakukei no Loop Manga to End in October – News

The September issue of Kadokawa‘s Dragon Age magazine announced on Friday that Kei Hozumi and Mito’s Seishun wa Sankakukei no Loop (Youth is a Triangular Loop) manga will end in the next chapter in the November issue in October. (The manga will not run in the October cover-dated issue.)
The series follows a love triangle between three childhood friends.
Hozumi and Mito launched the series in Kadokawa‘s Dragon Age magazine in March 2025. Kadokawa shipped the first compiled book volume on September 9.
Hozumi launched The Elf Sisters Can’t Wait for the Night manga in Kadokawa‘s Dragon Age magazine in September 2021. Kadokawa shipped the seventh compiled book volume on February 9. Seven Seas publishes Hozumi’s The Elf Sisters Can’t Wait for the Night manga. Seven Seas will ship the seventh volume in March 2027.
Mito concluded the Sheep Princess in Wolf’s Clothing manga with the fifth compiled book volume in May 2023. Seven Seas publishes Mito’s Sheep Princess in Wolf’s Clothing yuri manga in English. Seven Seas shipped the fifth volume in February 2025.

Steins;Gate Re:Boot Game’s Xbox Series X|S Release Delayed to October 29 – News
Xbox Series X|S release date now matches release date of other console versions in the West

Spike Chunsoft announced on Tuesday that it has delayed the Xbox Series X|S version of MAGES.‘ Steins;Gate Re:Boot game from August 20 to October 29. Spike Chunsoft stated that it chose to delay the release to match the release date for the console version in the West.
The game will launch in Japan on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, Switch 2, and PC via Steam on August 20. The game will also launch in the West on PC via Steam on August 20. The game will launch in the West on PS5, PS4, Switch, and Switch 2 on October 29.
Physical versions of the game will be available including a standard edition and a Steelbook edition. The Steelbook edition features a new cover art by character designer huke, as well as a sticker as a first-print-run bonus.
The game will use M2‘s E-Mote animation system for 2D illustrations, which has also been used in a number of other visual novels. The middleware allows the developers to add detailed expressions to the character sprites.
Steins;Gate Re:Boot was originally announced for release in 2025, but was delayed to 2026.
The game’s characters have been revamped with redesigned clothing and accessories by character designer huke. The game’s background graphics depict the Akihabara scene of 2010, and locations not featured in the original game have been added. The game’s event stills were drawn under the supervision of huke. Scenes not featured in the original game have been added. The game will have an additional “Gamma Worldline” story.
The game’s 15th anniversary movie began streaming in October 2024, and it stated, “Steins;Gate will continue.”
The Steins;Gate game shipped in 2009 as the second Science Adventure Series project from MAGES. (then known as 5pb.) and inspired a television anime in 2011. The game also inspired the Steins;Gate – The Movie – Load Region of Déjà Vu sequel film in 2013 and the alternate retelling anime Steins;Gate 0 in 2018. The franchise includes several sequel and spinoff games, and manga adaptations.
A Hollywood live-action television adaptation of the game was announced in 2020.
MAGES. also announced in 2020 that was developing a Steins;Gate 0 Elite game.

I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand Anime Casts Naoto Kobayashi – News
The staff for the television anime of Ezogingitune and illustrator DeeCHA‘s I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand (Koko wa Ore ni Makasete Saki ni Ike to Ittekara 10-nen ga Tattara Densetsu ni Natteita.) light novel series confirmed on Tuesday that the anime has cast Naoto Kobayashi as Garuvu, a sacred wolf beast. The character debuted in the anime’s sixth episode on Monday.

Square Enix and Comikey are releasing the novel series’ manga adaptation in English, and they describe the story:
With no other options, Luck makes the choice to hold the line against the unending demonic hordes alone, to make sure his comrades can escape with their lives. However, through a combination of fortune, skill, and ingenuity, he holds that line for ten straight years, eventually coming out on top single handedly. Now he has to tackle the dilemma of how to occupy himself in a world where he holds a myriad of roles: that of a legend, that of a veteran, and that of a brand new face.
The anime stars:
Nobuhiko Okamoto, Kōsuke Toriumi, Takehito Koyasu, Shinya Takahashi, and Satoshi Hino will voice the vampires who hold the key to the story.
Hiroyuki Kanbe (Viper’s Creed) is directing the anime at Gekkō. Mitsutaka Hirota (Edens Zero) is handling the series scripts. Majiro (Macross Delta) is designing the characters. sajou no hana performs the anime’s opening theme song “Soredemo Donten o Koeteyuku” (Even So, We Go Past the Cloudy Skies). Rock-idol girl group MEISHOHIKOKAI will perform the ending theme song “Ari Kitari na Nichijō to Kōun na Hibi e” (Lucky in the Ordinary, or literally, Onwards to Ordinary and Fortunate Days).

The anime premiered first on Amazon Prime Video on July 3, before debuting on the ABEMA and d Anime Store streaming services on July 6, as well as making its television debut on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, TV Aichi, and BS11 on July 6. The anime debuted on AT-X on July 9. The anime’s premiere was delayed to July “to present an even more enjoyable work for everyone.” The anime was initially announced to premiere in April.
Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as it airs in Japan.
The web novel began in June 2018 on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. The light novel series’ first volume debuted in February 2019, and the eighth volume will ship on July 15. Chaco Abeno launched a manga adaptation with composition by Kitsune Tennōji on Square Enix‘s Manga UP! service in August 2019. Square Enix published the manga’s 19th compiled book volume on April 7. The novel and manga series combined has over 4.45 million copies in circulation.

The Sonic the Hedgehog franchise released a teaser trailer for the upcoming Fortnite Battle Royal Chapter 7 Season 4 “Override” on Monday. The teaser features Fortnite Battle Royale character Peely running on a Sonic the Hedgehog-inspired course. The video also teases an unknown character using the Sonic the Hedgehog Spin Dash collecting rings.
