Welsh & Shedar Anime Streams on YouTube in November – News
1st 2 episodes stream in English, Japanese, French in early November

French entertainment company Ankana announced on Thursday that it will stream the original television anime Aoki Denshō Welsh & Shedar (The Azure Legend: Welsh & Shedar) with dubs in English, Japanese, and French with subtitles in Spanish and Portuguese for free worldwide on its new YouTube channel Krosmoz. The first two episodes will begin streaming in early November, and more episodes will debut every two weeks on the channel.
The anime premiered on Friday on Tokyo MX at 9:25 p.m. JST (8:25 a.m. EDT).
The anime’s story centers on a country boy named Welsh, and a prince destined to become a king named Shedar. The two boys are from different stations in life, but their destinies intertwine when they try to end a tyrant’s plot to conquer the world.
The anime stars:
Naoki Horiuchi (episode director for Kingdom second season, Black Clover, Vivy -Fluorite Eye’s Song-) is directing the anime at Studio Massket. Saori Nakashiki (Sasaki and Peeps, Tales of Wedding Rings) is designing the characters, and Nakashiki is also one of the chief animation directors alongside Yoshiaki Tsubata (Date A Live IV) and Yuki Ikeda (WAVE!! -Let’s go surfing!! movie trilogy).
Eri Suzuki (Black Summoner) is the color key artist, and Studio Massket is also in charge of anime background art. Lucas Cisterne (3D CG for The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash) is in charge of art setting, Jun Watanabe (Ascendance of a Bookworm) is directing the sound at TO Books, and Pierre-Jean Beaudoin & Jose Pavli are composing the music. Tot is credited for the original work, scripts, and drafting the series story outline. Kenichi Yamashita (MF Ghost) is in charge of the series scripts for the anime’s Japanese version. Takuya Imakado (The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash) is the series’ monster designer.
Artists Hironobu Kageyama and Masami Okui will perform the theme song “Bokura no Mirai e” (To Our Future). Kageyama will also perform the ending theme song “Omelette.” Kageyama & KUKO will perform the insert song “I’m in you.”
Ankama is an independent entertainment and digital creation group most widely known for the DOFUS tactical MMORPG, which launched in 2004. The company also published Atsushi Kaneko‘s SOIL manga, and Suguro Chayamachi‘s Togainu no Chi manga in French.

Show Your ‘Siga’ Pride With New Goodbye, Lara Sweatshirt & T-Shirt – Interest

Japanese cosplay/apparel brand Cospa and the hit anime series Goodbye, Lara revealed on September 17 that the Siga sweatshirt and T-shirt seen in the anime series are coming to life. The merchandise will be available in early December.

Cospa later announced in a press release that the Siga sweatshirt and T-shirts will come in Japanese S to XL sizes and are made of 100% cotton. The Siga sweatshirt is priced at 6,820 yen and the Siga t-shirt at 3,300 yen (about US$43 and US$21, respectively). Both will be available on the online Cospa shop.
The Goodbye, Lara anime series tells a tale like Hans Christian Andersen‘s The Little Mermaid. The story follows a mermaid who makes a forbidden wish to be loved by a human. Following her death, she is reborn 200 years later into modern-day Japan in Lake Biwa, where she learns to adjust in a human world. Lake Biwa is in Shiga Prefecture, which is also where director Takushi Koide‘s hometown is located.
The series started airing on July 5 at 24:30 (effectively July 6 at 12:30 a.m.) on the Tokyo MX channel, before running later that night on BS Asahi and YTV. The anime also ran on AT-X starting on July 6. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired. Goodbye, Lara premiered early at the Anime Central convention on May 15.

‘Keroro Gunsou☆’ Announces Additional Cast

The official X account for the new television anime adaptation of Mine Yoshizaki‘s Keroro Gunsou (Sgt. Frog) manga announced three additional cast members on Saturday. The anime series premiered on October 3 at 9:30 a.m. on TV Tokyo.

Toshihiko Sano (Farmagia) is directing the new anime at Bandai Namco Pictures. Toshimitsu Takeuchi (Fantasy Bishoujo Juniku Ojisan to) is handling the series composition and Hatsue Nakayama (Fairy Tail: Final Series guest character design) is designing the characters. Kan Sawada (Yowamushi Pedal) is composing the music.
Yoshizaki began drawing the manga in Shounen Ace in November 1999. Kadokawa published the 35th volume in December 2025. VIZ Media licensed the manga under its VIZ Select imprint for digital release in English in December 2014.
Produced by Sunrise, a television adaptation of the manga aired in 358 episodes from Spring 2004 to Spring 2011. The Keroro short television anime premiered in Spring 2014.
The first movie adaptation of the series premiered in Japanese theatres in March 2006, followed by Keroro Gunsou Movie 2 in 2007, Keroro Gunsou Movie 3 in 2008, Keroro Gunsou Movie 4 in 2009, Keroro Gunsou Movie 5 in 2010, and Keroro Gunsou Movie 6 on June 26.
