If you have been waiting to jump into Pandora’s chaos, now is the time. Amazon has slashed the physical PS5 and Xbox Series X editions of Borderlands 4 to just $19.91 — a massive 60% off the list price and the lowest price to date for the game at the retailer.
The timing is striking. These prices even beat what the looter-shooter sold for during the recent Prime Big Deal Days sale, making this the cheapest Borderlands 4 has ever been — weeks before Black Friday kicks off the big sale season.
Is Borderlands 4 Worth $20?
Absolutely, according to the critics. IGN’s Travis Northup awarded the game an 8/10 at release, calling it “a badass open-world evolution of a wonderfully unhinged looter-shooter series that needed to try something new, and it largely nails the biggest swings it takes.”
Northup praised its “fantastic open world and greatly improved combat,” while noting that “bugs and invisible walls can sometimes throw off that groove.” For series veterans and newcomers alike, $20 is a steal for one of last year’s biggest open-world shooters.
Grab It Before It’s Gone
Amazon’s price cuts on the PS5 and Xbox Series X physical editions are live now. With Black Friday still a month away and prices already undercutting the Prime sale, this deal may not last long — and even if it does, it is hard to imagine the game dropping much further.
Whether this is your first trip to the Borderlands or your fourth, this is as good a time as any to pick it up for just twenty bucks.
