The announcement came with a first-look glimpse of the light stick, instantly setting off excitement among fans who have been waiting for the group’s first official merch drop. For any K-pop act, the light stick is more than an accessory — it is the symbol of the fandom, the glowing sea of color that turns a concert venue into a universe of its own.
Why This Light Stick Matters
For a rookie group like hrtz.wav, unveiling an official light stick is a rite of passage. It signals that the band is moving from debut-phase curiosity to a fandom with a real identity. Light sticks have become one of the most collectible pieces of K-pop culture, with each design trying to capture the group’s concept in a single glowing object.
Fans will get their hands on it fast: pre-orders open October 16, just two days after the reveal, giving supporters barely any time to recover from the announcement before they need to hit buy.
What We Know About the Design
The first glimpse shows a sleek, modern design befitting a band with “wav” in its name — expect a concept built around sound, waves, and light. The official design drop is expected to come with full details on pricing, versions, and shipping dates when pre-orders go live.
hrtz.wav continues to build momentum as one of the rookies to watch, and an official light stick this early in their career suggests big things are planned. Whether it sells out in minutes like the biggest groups’ sticks remains to be seen — but with pre-orders opening October 16, fans should be ready.
