WWE filed new trademarks on October 13, and one of them has fans of The Undertaker sitting up straight: ‘WWE: Deadman’s Tour’. The filing’s listed description points squarely at video games — a tantalizing hint that the Deadman could be getting a brand-new game of his own.

The trademark covers IC 009, the category for video, mobile and computer game software, online video games, games for wireless devices, and even coin-fed amusement gaming machines and interactive multimedia computer games across all platforms. In other words, it’s a comprehensive filing that would cover just about any form of gaming you can think of.
Not the Only Filing
The other trademark WWE filed on the same day was ‘WWE: Survive the Ride’, though no description of its intended use has surfaced yet. WWE files trademarks routinely for merchandising, media, and event branding, so a filing alone doesn’t guarantee a product is coming — but the Deadman’s Tour one is unusually specific to gaming.
What Could Deadman’s Tour Be?
WWE’s gaming footprint is anchored by the annual WWE 2K series, which has featured Undertaker-centric content for years — from showcase modes to special editions. A standalone ‘Deadman’s Tour’ game would be a bold departure from that model, and arguably the first time a single wrestler’s persona has headlined its own WWE game in the modern era.
The timing is interesting, too. The Undertaker remains one of WWE’s most marketable legends, with his persona ripe for a horror-tinged action or adventure game. Think of the atmospheric potential: the graveyard sets, the purple lights, the urn. Whether this filing turns into a real game or just WWE protecting its IP, the trademark ensures nobody else can slap ‘Deadman’s Tour’ on a game anytime soon.
