By An arrogant chaebol heir suspected of murder, an undercover detective posing as his personal secretary, and a job posting that was never meant for her. tvN’s upcoming romance thriller “Love in Disguise” has released a new teaser, and it is already serving tension in spades — with Seol In Ah and Yim Si Wan circling each other in a delicious game of suspicion.

A Secretary With a Secret
The teaser opens on the first meeting between Yoon Yi Jun (Yim Si Wan), the demanding next heir of the Taegang Group, and Kang Jae Hee (Seol In Ah), a former special forces officer who has infiltrated his life. Jae Hee’s cover is bold: when a job posting for a personal secretary position — open exclusively to men — appears, she seizes the chance, turning the fact that people often mistake her for a man to her advantage and confidently walking into the interview.
Yi Jun is every inch the entitled chaebol prince: sensitive, meticulous, and impossible to impress. Even while being questioned by police on suspicion of murder, he casually fires back, “Do you really think I killed someone?” His arrogant attitude only hardens Jae Hee’s resolve to dig into his inner circle and find out the truth.
“Do It Again!”
Getting the job turns out to be the easy part. Yi Jun, who finds it nearly impossible to trust anyone, constantly puts his new secretary to the test — and every time she falls short of his demanding standards, he barks, “Do it again!” Eventually, Jae Hee is reduced to sweet-talking a murder suspect just to stay in his good graces.
But the tension cuts both ways. In one teaser scene, Jae Hee urgently warns, “Something is happening in this house that I don’t know about,” while in another, Yi Jun fixes her with a sharp gaze and demands, “Who are you? Who sent you?” As their mutual suspicion intensifies, the big question hangs over everything: how long can Jae Hee maintain her double life before her cover is blown?
The teaser also introduces Kim Jung Hyun as Taegang Group lawyer Kim Si Hyun and Yeonwoo as Lee Hye Jung, the secretary to the chairman of Taegang Group, rounding out a cast built for corporate intrigue.
“Love in Disguise” premieres on October 19 at 8:50 p.m. KST on tvN. With suspicion, romance and a heroine living dangerously undercover, this one is shaping up to be a must-watch.
