Nothing says awkward quite like finding out your client’s job is more personal than you bargained for. The upcoming chaotic romantic comedy “Make Me Tingle” has dropped fresh new stills ahead of its premiere, and they confirm that Nam Ji Hyun’s Gong Yeon Su is about to get the workplace surprise of a lifetime — her former blind date, played by Kim Jae Yeong, is her new client.

A Blind Date Gone Nowhere… Until It Didn’t
The story follows Gong Yeon Su, a woman who believes in love but has never quite figured out what it means for her. Raised in a family with traditional beliefs, she has always taken a cautious approach to dating. After being pushed into a blind date by her family elders, she meets Dokgo Dal, a CEO who runs a sex-toy startup — though the date itself fizzles out without going anywhere.
Yeon Su, who was never enthusiastic about marriage-oriented dating in the first place, sees little reason to follow up. Dal, for his part, shows no particular interest either. Case closed — or so she thinks. Looking to shake up her everyday life, Yeon Su volunteers for a new project at work, only to discover that the client is none other than Dokgo Dal himself.
When Professional Meets Personal
Taking on the marketing for a sex-toy startup throws the conservative Yeon Su into completely unfamiliar territory. The newly released stills show her visiting Dal’s company, struggling to hide her bewilderment at the sights around her, while Dal remains focused on his work, seemingly unaware she has even arrived. Other scenes catch her studying up on her own — watching a documentary about love and relationships at her traditional family home, so engrossed that she doesn’t notice her aunt Gong Mi Young (Jeong In Ji) standing beside her. In a delightfully unexpected moment, the aunt watches the screen alongside her niece without a hint of surprise.
The clash between Yeon Su’s traditional upbringing and the world she is now professionally navigating is expected to fuel plenty of humor throughout the drama, as she is forced to reconsider long-held beliefs about love and relationships while keeping things strictly business with a man she already wrote off once.
“Make Me Tingle” premieres on October 15 at 6 p.m. KST and will be available to stream on Viki. With its mix of cringe comedy and genuine heart, this is one blind date you won’t want to miss — even if Yeon Su does.
