“Doctor X” is adding a dangerous new player. Jang Seung Jo will make a special appearance in the medical noir drama as Na Dae Il — a rival who could shake up everything for Kim Ji Won’s genius surgeon Gye Soo Jung.
Na Dae Il arrives as a newly appointed surgery professor at Guseo University Hospital. A former military surgeon with years of service behind him, he brings extensive clinical expertise to the operating table — and, it seems, a hidden agenda. The newly released stills show a polished, smiling professor, but a fleeting cold gaze behind that friendly exterior raises sharp questions about his true intentions.
A Handshake Full of Tension
Even a seemingly simple handshake with Jang Hee Sook (Lee Jung Eun) carries subtle tension in the stills, heightening curiosity about what turmoil Na Dae Il may unleash on the lives of both Jang Hee Sook and Gye Soo Jung.
Based on the hit Japanese series of the same name, “Doctor X” stars Kim Ji Won as Gye Soo Jung, a genius surgeon who proves what it truly means to be a doctor through pure skill alone as she “operates” on a corruption-ridden establishment.
Episode 3 Airs Tonight
The timing could not be hotter. Episode 3 of “Doctor X” airs tonight, October 16 at 9:50 p.m. KST — the same episode teased with shocking stills of Kim Ji Won rushed to an emergency room covered in blood. With Na Dae Il entering the fray, the hospital’s power game is about to get a lot more dangerous.
