Drew McIntyre has a college degree in criminology — and he’s now putting it to work on CM Punk. Appearing on Stephanie McMahon’s “What’s Your Story?” podcast, McIntyre was asked if he ever applies his criminology background to people in wrestling. He didn’t hesitate: Punk, he said, would be “a hell of a case study.”

McIntyre’s Criminology Verdict: “Guilty”
McIntyre explained that he actually leaned on his degree during his feud with Punk, arguing fans should look at both men’s histories and judge for themselves. “Just use Google and type my name in and see the character witness reports of people, what they think about me,” Drew said. “Your hero, your warrior. They go through tough times.”
Then came the verdict on Punk. McIntyre once again compared Punk’s ability to win over fans to Charles Manson — a jab he’s used before — saying Punk “just woos you all with his words.” When Stephanie played along with the courtroom framing, asking about being “guilty beyond a reasonable doubt,” McIntyre delivered the line: Punk is a “guilty piece of crap.”
A Rivalry That Refuses to Die
McIntyre laughed it off afterward, admitting he could talk about Punk “forever” — and that rings true, given Drew recently said he wants Punk gone from WWE altogether, all while he’s been away from WWE television.
Their genuine friction already produced one of WWE’s most personal rivalries of the modern era, and Drew is clearly finding new ways to keep it alive. Whether Punk ever answers this particular charge remains to be seen — but with McIntyre playing judge, jury, and criminologist, don’t expect the shots to stop.
