It started as a solo show, but Darren Criss had a surprise up his sleeve for his one-night-only concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall. Midway through the evening, the singer brought out his former “Glee” co-star Chris Colfer, reuniting TV’s beloved couple Kurt Hummel and Blaine Anderson on stage.

A Duet Years in the Making

Criss began performing “Baby It’s Cold Outside” alone, telling the crowd he would sing both parts – “it’s not supposed to be like that, but I’ve managed to pull off so many things.” Then, a few verses in, Colfer walked out to thunderous applause.

“The only thing inappropriate about doing this song is doing it without me,” Colfer joked before joining in, sending the crowd into a frenzy as the pair performed the duet together – an homage to their characters Kurt Hummel and Blaine Anderson, whose on-screen romance made them one of the most iconic couples of the hit Fox series.

Why This Moment Hits So Hard

“Glee” ran for six seasons and built a fiercely loyal fanbase, and its stars reuniting on stage is a rare treat. The London concert proved the show’s magic is still alive – one surprise guest, one classic duet, and one unforgettable night for everyone who grew up watching Blaine and Kurt fall in love.
