ITZY’s Chaeryeong is finally going solo — and the full roadmap is here. On October 19 KST, she unveiled the trailer, promotion schedule and track list for her debut album “Lovesick,” arriving November 9 at 6 p.m. KST with the title track’s music video dropping the same evening.

The rollout doesn’t stop there. On November 13 at 2 p.m. KST, the physical album launches in the United States, and Chaeryeong will simultaneously release an English version of the title track “Lovesick” — a clear signal she’s aiming at the global stage from day one.
Four Tracks, Including One She Helped Write
“Lovesick” is a compact four-track release featuring the title song alongside “Moonlit Club,” “Scent” and “Favorite Reason.” The title track was penned by Choi Si-yoo and Wang Se-yoon of Swedish Laundry, with composition by mOnSteR nO.9 and Jonna Hall.
The closing track, “Favorite Reason,” carries Chaeryeong’s own handwriting — she co-wrote its lyrics with Lee An of ARTiffect, with an international production team including Young Chance, Rebbi James, Rollie and Josefin Glenmark behind the music.
Thirteen Years in the Making
This moment has been a long time coming. Chaeryeong joined JYP Entertainment roughly 13 years ago after appearing on SBS’s K-Pop Star Season 3 alongside her older sister Lee Chaeyeon, and she debuted with ITZY in February 2019 as the group’s celebrated main dancer — nicknamed “Feather Chaeryeong” for her light, graceful dance lines.
She becomes the third ITZY member to pursue solo work, following Yeji, who blazed the trail with the synth-pop title track “Air,” and Yuna, who charmed with the dreamy “Ice Cream.”
With ITZY deep into their third world tour, “TUNNEL VISION,” Chaeryeong is juggling a global tour schedule with her debut preparations — and if the trailer is anything to go by, “Lovesick” will be worth the wait.
