The odds were stacked against her, but Persephone proved why she’s the TBS Champion at AEW WrestleDream on October 17, 2026. Facing three challengers — Dani Luna, Hyan, and Queen Aminata — in a four-way match, Persephone walked out still holding the title.
It was a rematch of sorts for Persephone, who had already beaten Luna at All In and turned back Hyan on the September 23 edition of AEW Dynamite. This time she had to beat them all at once — and she did.

A Moonsault Press Seals The Win
The finish came in dramatic fashion. As Hyan attempted to pin Dani Luna for the title, Persephone swooped in to break it up at the last second. She then dropped Hyan to the canvas and soared with a moonsault press to score the pinfall and retain.
It was a smart, opportunistic finish — the kind of move that shows a champion who knows exactly when to strike. In a four-way match, the champion doesn’t need to pin everyone; they just need to be standing last. Persephone was.
What Is Next For The TBS Champion?
Persephone’s reign continues to gather momentum, and her run of successful defenses — against Luna, Hyan, and now Aminata too — is building a legitimate championship resume. With WrestleDream in the rearview mirror, the division’s top contenders will surely be lining up for their shot.
Queen Aminata in particular looked strong in defeat and could easily earn a one-on-one rematch down the line. But for now, the TBS Championship stays exactly where it is — around the waist of Persephone.
