Wagner Brothers Defend The AAA World Tag Team Titles
The centerpiece of the night saw the Wagner Brothers — El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno — put the AAA World Tag Team Championship on the line against El Mesias and Mecha Wolf.
It was the first defense of the Wagner Brothers’ reign, and an early test of their grip on the tag division’s top prize. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. carries forward one of lucha libre’s most famous family legacies, and how this title run develops could shape the division heading into the final months of 2026.
La Catalina And More From Leon
Also on the show, Reina de Reinas champion La Catalina made an appearance and addressed the crowd, while El Fiscal took on Taurus in singles action.
Lucha Libre AAA continues to air every Saturday night, blending WWE’s global production reach with Mexico’s rich lucha tradition. Fans can catch the full episode free on YouTube, with past episodes available anytime on the AAA channel.
