Independent wrestling standout Charles Crowley is not shy about where he wants his career to go next. In a new interview with Soundsphere Magazine, the UK star made his ambitions crystal clear: he wants a major signing, and he believes it is only a matter of time.
“Of course I would absolutely love to get signed,” Crowley said. “We all want to be on WrestleMania. TNA has such a cool aesthetic, and the vibe of AEW is unmatched.”
“Just the platform to show what I’m capable of”
Crowley framed the desire not as chasing fame, but as chasing a stage. “I’ve spent a lot of time, effort, energy, and money on my promos as and when I can, and I can’t always do that because I’m a struggling artist, but it’s more just the platform to be able to show what I’m capable of,” he said.
His confidence is unshaken: “And I believe it will happen. Just got to keep grinding away, keep getting better every day, and just do my best.”
Proving the doubters wrong
Crowley revealed a piece of advice he got early in his career — and why it still drives him. “When I got into wrestling, someone said to me, ‘It’s all been done before, so don’t try and recreate the wheel.’ And I hated that. I’ve never fucking forgotten it, ever since then, I’ve tried to prove it wrong.”
He is not the only one who believes in him. Fellow wrestler Donovan Dijak recently told Fightful that Crowley would be a household name within two years. Combined with Crowley’s breakout voice role as Biddy Blas in Star Wars: Galactic Racer — a performance that took a genuine toll on his vocal chords — the case for a major signing is getting louder by the week.
