Cygames has warned that the U.S. leg of the Uma Musume: Pretty Derby – 7th Event World Tour: The Stage may be canceled. The franchise staff announced that the U.S. visas needed for the October 22–23 concerts in Los Angeles have yet to be approved — despite more than six months of work with lawyers and promoters to secure them.

In a statement, the staff said they are “coordinating with all parties concerned to explore every possible option to get the visas approved and make the concerts happen.” A final decision — whether the shows can go ahead or not — will be announced by Monday, October 19 at 10:00 p.m. PDT, just days before the concerts.
An Apology Days Before the Shows
The team apologized for the concern and the inconvenience, and for dropping the news so close to the event dates. The two L.A. concerts are scheduled for October 22 at 8:00 p.m. PDT and October 23 at 7:00 p.m. PDT at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
The 7th Event world tour kicked off in Tokyo on June 20–21 and includes stops in Los Angeles, London, Seoul, and Yokohama — marking the first time the franchise’s live musical events have been performed globally.
Best Mobile Game Winner Faces Real-World Hurdle
The timing could not be worse for a franchise riding high: the Uma Musume Pretty Derby game, which launched in English on June 26, 2025, won Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards 2025. Now the horse girls’ biggest global moment hinges on paperwork landing before showtime. Fans with tickets should watch the franchise’s official channels on Monday night for the verdict.
