Drew McIntyre hasn’t been seen on WWE television in months, but the Scottish Warrior has zero interest in apologizing for it. Appearing on the Raw Talk podcast, McIntyre declared he’s in the best shape of his life — and that WWE and its fans need him more than he needs them.

Bigger, Leaner, Better Than Ever
According to McIntyre, his recent training has completely transformed his body — and not in the way he expected. Despite focusing on cardio and conditioning, which he thought would slim him down, the 41-year-old says he’s actually gotten “bigger, leaner, and more flexible.”
“I’ve never felt as physically good,” he said, admitting there were times a couple of years ago when the wear and tear had him feeling every one of his years in the business. Those days, apparently, are long gone.
Quietly Sharpening in the Ring
The former WWE Champion also revealed he’s been getting back in the ring away from cameras, working purely on speed and conditioning. A recent social media clip of him running the ropes pulled in more than 10 million views, and even his own trainer was reportedly stunned by how much his movement has improved since his last WWE run.
As for how much longer he plans to wrestle? McIntyre kept it simple: “As long as I enjoy it… as long as the fans are enjoying what I do. I can’t imagine slowing down.”
When the Scottish Warrior finally does return, it’ll be on his terms — and he expects the WWE Universe to be grateful for it.
