Fans of Thai BL dramas were left stunned this week after GMMTV announced the dissolution of two of its most popular on-screen pairings — “Joong” Archen Aydin and “Dunk” Natachai Boonprasert (JoongDunk) and “Aou” Thanaboon Kiatniran and “Boom” Tharatorn Jantharaworakarn (AouBoom) — have officially ended their partnerships.

In notices posted on X, the Thai entertainment company confirmed the splits but said that previously announced schedules for the pairs would continue as planned. No specific reason was given for either breakup.
Two Series Reportedly Scrapped
While GMMTV’s announcements didn’t directly address the future of the pairs’ upcoming projects, fans noticed that all previously shared content — including video trailers — has been deleted for both of their planned series: How To Survive My CEO (JoongDunk) and Billionaire Biker (AouBoom). That strongly suggests both dramas have been quietly cancelled.
Joong and Dunk first won fans together in Star & Sky: Star in My Mind in 2022, while Aou and Boom rose to popularity as supporting characters in We Are. In Thailand’s BL industry, paired actors often become hugely popular both domestically and internationally thanks to their on-screen chemistry — which is exactly why these splits have hit fandoms so hard.
What Comes Next
GMMTV hasn’t said whether either series will be recast or whether the actors will be re-paired with new partners. For now, fans are left to process the end of two of the company’s most beloved duos, and wait to see what projects the four actors take on next.
