Netflix is bringing back its hit Korean mystery variety show — and every original cast member is returning. On October 20, Netflix announced that Jang Jin, Park Ji Yoon, Jang Dong Min, Kim Ji Hun, and IVE’s An Yu Jin will all reunite for “Crime Scene Zero Season 2,” set to premiere in 2027.

Crime Scene Zero is a role-playing mystery series in which the cast take on the roles of suspects and detectives, working together — and against each other — to uncover the real culprit behind each case. Season 1 premiered last year and won attention for its tightly constructed cases, intense psychological battles between cast members, and twists nobody saw coming.
All Five Return, Plus Surprise Guests
The reunion is a big deal for fans of the franchise. Director Yun Hyeon Jun said of the cast: “I believe these five are the ones who best understand and can bring to life the world of ‘Crime Scene,’ no matter what anyone says.” He added that he is delighted the whole team can work together again — and teased “amazing guests” who will join the new season.
Those guest stars will appear in each episode, bringing fresh character dynamics and unexpected twists to the established chemistry of the five leads.
Bigger Cases, Bigger World
Season 2 will expand the scale of its cases and the world of the show. Through more elaborate tricks and brand-new settings, the production team plans to push the cast’s deductive skills even harder, serving up a mix of suspense and humor through the show’s signature role-playing format.
The Crime Scene franchise is one of Korea’s most beloved variety brands, and the full-cast reunion — including IVE leader An Yu Jin, who impressed viewers in Season 1 — gives Netflix another strong Korean original heading into 2027.
