BTS Power and a Jang Won Young Surge

The top five reads like a who’s who of K-pop’s biggest names. BTS’s Jimin kept second place with 8,361,896, jumping 22.15 percent month over month. RESCENE’s Zena climbed to third with 7,271,332, a 23.16 percent rise.

The biggest mover, though, is IVE’s Jang Won Young in fourth place. Her index of 6,810,221 marks a staggering 47.49 percent surge since last month, the largest jump among the top five. BTS’s Jungkook rounded out the top five at 6,095,986, up 18.41 percent.

How the Rankings Work

The rankings were determined by analyzing the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 1,735 idols, using big data collected from September 21 to October 21.

Woni’s dominance is more than raw volume. Her keyword analysis showed high-ranking phrases like “REMINE” and “photocard,” with related terms including “advertise,” “participate,” and “playful.” Her positivity-negativity analysis came back at a glowing 95.03 percent positive reactions.
