The guild-expulsion fantasy story of an alchemist who turns out to be anything but worthless has reached its end. Square Enix’s Manga UP! service published the third and final part of the last chapter of Skyfarm and Tentashi’s Wildcard Alchemist: Building the Ultimate Guild With a Divine Fluffy Beast and Random Alchemy Skill on Sunday.

The Final Volume Drops November 6
Fans won’t have to wait long to own the complete story. Square Enix will release the manga’s fourth and final compiled book volume on November 6, just over a year after the series launched. The first volume only hit shelves in September 2025, making this a fast-moving two-year serial run from start to collected finish.
The manga’s English digital release comes courtesy of Manga UP! Global, which describes the hook in classic underdog fashion: when a toxic guild dumps their “worthless, junk-making” alchemist, they make the biggest mistake of their lives.
A Divine Beast, a Random Skill, and Revenge on the Guild
The story follows Iluto, an alchemist unceremoniously kicked out of Dragnate, the very guild that recruited him. Going solo, he heads into the forest on a monster survey and crosses paths with Noir, a fluffy divine beast that grants him the “Random Alchemy” skill.
Between a divine beast coveted by several nations, supreme mana control, and his world-changing alchemy, Iluto climbs toward worldwide recognition while his former guild crumbles without him. Along the way he builds his dream squad with a beautiful elf girl and his fluffy new companion, exactly the kind of found-family guild fantasy that fans of the genre devour.
Behind the Pages
The manga launched on Manga UP! in April 2025. Skyfarm, known for 8th Loop for the Win! and Fed Up With Being the Spoiled Queen’s Genius Butler, wrote the story, with Tentashi on art and Dr. Mine credited for composition.
