Independent wrestler Syko Stu has given his most detailed account yet of the August 23, 2025 KnokX Pro incident that left him hospitalized, speaking to the SOS Podcast with Matt Rosa and Neno Torres about the attack by Raja Jackson, son of Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.

A Planned Spot Gone Terribly Wrong

What was meant to be a worked angle turned into a legitimate assault. Stu revealed that before the show, he had confronted Raja outside the venue and smashed a beer can over his head — believing they were working. “I do remember that we did call a finish and he was supposed to come in. I think he was going to give me one punch because of the can spot. It’s supposed to be a wrestling punch,” Stu explained. “I don’t think anyone expected what was going to happen to happen.”

Instead, Raja entered the ring, slammed Stu down knocking him unconscious, then landed over 20 legitimate unanswered strikes to Stu’s head before independent wrestler Doug Malo pulled him off.

Severe Injuries, A Year Off Work

“I was out on the slam. I don’t remember anything. I woke up on Tuesday and saw some of the wrestlers. Rikishi was there and we were talking,” Stu said, noting he was discharged on Thursday after entering on Saturday. The injuries were severe: a severe traumatic brain injury, two lost teeth, and a shattered maxilla.

“I really had to relearn how to walk. I couldn’t walk after that for a while,” he revealed. Stu was off work for an entire year and is still undergoing rehab, doing word exercises to combat memory problems: “I’ll forget things five minutes later, will do things multiple times, and have forgotten names and faces.”

“I’m Not Holding A Grudge” — But No Forgiveness

Addressing a previous statement about forgiving Raja, Stu clarified: “That was a little bit out of context. What I actually said was, ‘I’m not holding a grudge.’ I never said anything about forgiveness.”

Stu also said he has no desire to contact Rampage Jackson, who he says trashed him on podcasts after calling him while he was hospitalized: “I’m not going to call you back if you already made up your mind about me.”
