BIGHIT MUSIC is drawing a hard line. On October 22, TXT’s agency announced it will take strong legal action against those spreading false rumors and malicious posts targeting the group — with no settlement and no leniency.

BIGHIT MUSIC’s statement on TXT legal action
The agency said it had recently identified the “indiscriminate spread of false information and malicious rumors” across social media platforms and online communities, and had been taking internal measures. Until now, it had refrained from official comments to avoid amplifying the rumors — but with TXT’s comeback approaching, it says the attacks have reached a critical level.
“Posting and spreading malicious content is a criminal act that gravely violates the artist’s rights and damages their reputation,” the statement reads. The agency says it is collecting evidence across domestic and international platforms and “will take firm legal action against those responsible, with no settlement or leniency.”
Fans asked to report malicious posts
BIGHIT MUSIC asked fans to help by reporting malicious activity through the HYBE Artist Rights Violation Report System (protect.hybecorp.com). The agency reiterated a zero-tolerance policy toward any unlawful act infringing on its artists’ rights.
The timing is significant: TXT is gearing up for a comeback with the new mini album “PERFECT STORM.” The agency clearly wants the conversation around the group focused on the music, not the noise.
