Seven Seas Entertainment has announced a fresh batch of licenses headlined by the Sagrada Reset light novel, and the haul stretches across manga, novels and audiobooks with 2027 release dates attached to most of the lineup.

The announcement, made Wednesday, bundles five new acquisitions under the publisher’s various imprints, ranging from a beloved time-rewind novel to a full-color pet manga and even a Boys Love spy thriller.

Leading the pack is Sagrada Reset, the light novel series by Yutaka Kono with illustrations by Torocchi, with volume 1 scheduled for March 2027. The story takes place in Sakurada, a town full of people with special abilities, where Misora can rewind time by three days simply by saying “reset,” and only Kei retains his memories of what was undone. When the two team up to revisit the past, the question is where their trips will ultimately land them.
On the manga side, The Mercenary Bomber Explodes All Cheaters, by Karaku Yuuki and Urashima Tsushima, is set for October 2027 with volume 1. It follows Jack, a bomb expert mercenary nicknamed “The Bomber,” who finds himself summoned to another world after one particularly heavy job, forced to prove his explosive skills matter outside his own world.
Also on the way is Two Cats and a Dog, a full-color manga by Haru Fujimori arriving in September 2027. The slice-of-life comic chronicles the daily chaos of a single artist caring for three fluffy companions: Bana-san the devoted dog, Kuro the gluttonous cat, and Cha-sama, a cat who lives in their own world. The publisher pitches it as an adorable look at the heaven, and the challenge, of dividing attention between three affectionate pets.
Audiobook and Boys Love pick round out the batch
The licenses are not just print. Venus Mission: I Was an Assassin-for-Hire Who Died, Now I’m Hunting Heroes in Another World, by MIYABI and Eito Nishikawa, is coming as an audiobook narrated by Nicholas Corda on December 17 under the Siren imprint. The story follows Takashi Suzuki, a middle-aged mercenary and former hitman who loses his battle with cancer, only to be reincarnated by a goddess with a divine kill order: eliminate thirty-two summoned “heroes” who are plunging a fantasy world into chaos. Reborn as Rei and partnered with the elf warrior Lydina, he must rely on modern combat tactics, martial arts and newly awakened magic while a larger conspiracy unfolds behind the goddess’s true motives.
Rounding out the haul is Miotsukushi: Backdoor Channels by YUZUHA OUGI, a Boys Love manga set for July 2027 volume 1. The thriller opens with a spy infiltrating the office of a Japanese House of Representatives member, and the representative’s secretary Nagumo hiring the genius hacker Mio to find them. Mio cracks the case in record time, but refuses payment, demanding Nagumo’s body instead, kicking off a tense relationship between a single-minded hacker and a ruthlessly ambitious political operative.
