AEW Fright Night Dynamite is taking shape — and a new championship bout is on the card. Queen Aminata will challenge Persephone for the TBS Championship, headlining the announcements for the special show.
How Aminata Earned Her Shot
The match comes after Aminata defeated Maya World on this week’s Dynamite to become the number one contender for the belt. The victory caps a strong run that has positioned her as one of the division’s most dangerous contenders.
Standing in her way is the reigning champion Persephone, who will be looking to retain the title on one of AEW’s biggest themed shows of the year.
Best-of-Five Rolls On
Also announced for Fright Night Dynamite: match three of the best-of-five series between FTR and the Motor City Machine Guns. With match one going to Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin at WrestleDream and match two set for October 24 Collision, the series will be at a pivotal point by the time the third chapter unfolds.
More matches and segments are expected to be announced for the show in the coming days.
