A woman who has spent the last decade raising the child of SS501 member Kim Hyun Joong is stepping into the spotlight on her own terms. Known publicly only as SEEU, she has officially launched an entertainment career under that stage name with the TikTok live agency Lightning Central, according to reports on October 22.

SEEU’s Past With Kim Hyun Joong And The Legal Battles
SEEU and Kim Hyun Joong dated for three years starting in 2012, a relationship that later spiraled into a long and highly publicized series of legal fights involving assault allegations and compensation lawsuits. She gave birth to a son in 2015 while the litigation was still ongoing, and the child was confirmed to be Kim Hyun Joong’s biological son. SEEU has been raising their son ever since.
Her agency stated that all legal disputes with Kim Hyun Joong, including the lawsuits around parental rights and custody of their child, have now been fully resolved.
SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong Now Married With Two Sons
Kim Hyun Joong moved on years ago, marrying a wedding planner his own age in 2022, and the couple now have two sons together. For SEEU, this debut marks a clean break from being defined by the controversy.
Her agency described her as “a responsible single mother and someone who is taking control of her own life,” saying she intends to focus on her future activities. As a TikTok live creator, SEEU will be building a brand entirely of her own making for the first time.
