Penta is riding the biggest wave of his career right now. After failing to capture the World Heavyweight Championship from Roman Reigns, many expected him to drift back into the midcard. Instead, he changed his trajectory completely by winning the Money In The Bank briefcase just a few weeks later.

Penta’s Money In The Bank Plans And Cash-In Strategy

Speaking with Busted Open Radio in a new interview, Penta admitted he sometimes can’t believe what is happening with his career right now, but also feels the weight of responsibility that comes with it. He pointed to kids in the crowd wearing his t-shirt and mask and shouting “cero miedo” as proof of what he means to the audience.

On holding the briefcase, Penta didn’t mince words: with the contract in his hands, he feels like he holds the power, because at some moment — he doesn’t know where or when — he will feel in his soul that it is the perfect time to cash in. He even named potential targets, mentioning both Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn, while admitting this is his first time carrying the briefcase and he wants to make the most of it.

Penta On His Brother, Raw And Enjoying The Ride

Penta also spoke about his family, noting that his brother is now on SmackDown while he holds things down on Raw, though he called the time his brother came to Raw “amazing” too. For now, he says he is enjoying every presentation with the briefcase — the fire, the entrances, everything.

The luchador also recalled the chaotic hours leading up to his WWE Raw match with Roman Reigns, a story that underlines just how fast his rise has been since arriving in WWE.
