Damian Priest’s 2025 Reduced Schedule And Injury Procedures
Speaking with WWE Radio’s Off The Ropes, Priest explained that he never stopped working even while getting treatment: “I’m feeling a lot better. I got some procedures done while I never took a day off, you know what I mean? So, I got some stuff done to ease pain and I feel a lot better. I think people can see it visually.”
He added that he’s training differently now and getting back into the shape he used to be in — all because he finally feels better.
Damian Priest On His Mental Health And Turning The Page
Priest was honest about the toll the injuries took beyond the physical. “I’m in a better head place too — I got myself down and for somebody who likes to think positively of myself and my career, I started doing the opposite and I had to check myself a little bit,” he said. “So that came with my health, physically and mentally. I’m in a good place now, man.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Priest also discussed his decision to turn his back on R-Truth, adding another chapter to his ongoing character arc on WWE television.
