Romantasy fans, the wait is almost over. A Court of Splintered Harmony, the sixth book in Sarah J. Maas’ bestselling ACOTAR series, releases Tuesday, October 27 — and if you haven’t preordered yet, you still have time to snag the hardcover at a discount.

The best hardcover deal right now is at Amazon, where the book is already 30% off — about $10 less than Barnes & Noble’s price. Preorders of the Target Exclusive version have already sold out, and both Target and Books-A-Million are completely out of preorder stock, so options are narrowing as launch day approaches.
One caveat: Amazon is flagging potential shipping delays, and it will only get worse as the release date nears. If you want the book in your hands on October 27, buying from Barnes & Noble with in-store pickup may be the safer play.
A Court of Splintered Harmony: eBook and audiobook options
The Kindle edition is available for $16.99 ahead of release, and the Audible audiobook launches at the same time as the physical copies. If you’re hoping to catch up through Kindle Unlimited, IGN notes it’s very unlikely the new book joins the subscription any time soon.
This is the first new ACOTAR installment in years, and it’s shaping up to be another bestseller for Maas, whose romantasy empire has sold millions worldwide. Romantasy readers planning to be first in line should lock in their preorder now — especially given the sold-out exclusives.
