AEW tried to wish Kamille a happy birthday, but the post backfired. Instead of birthday wishes, fans flooded the replies with a very different question: where has she been? The former NWA Women’s Champion has barely been seen on AEW television this year, and supporters wasted no time calling the company out.

Fans Clown AEW Over Kamille Birthday Post Amid TV Absence
AEW posted a birthday message for Kamille on October 24. Rather than simply joining in, plenty of fans turned the replies into a discussion about her lengthy absence from television. One fan could not understand how she disappeared again after finally returning earlier this year, while another demanded answers from Tony Khan about her whereabouts.
Some fans were apparently surprised to even be reminded that Kamille remains part of AEW, with one questioning whether she was still on the roster and another mocking the fact that she is still employed despite barely appearing.
Why Kamille Has Been Off AEW Television
According to Sean Ross Sapp, Kamille is still under contract with AEW, but there has not been a long-term creative plan for her since she was originally removed from television during her storyline with Mercedes Mone.
Kamille briefly returned at Dynasty on April 12, attacking Willow Nightingale backstage before defeating Big Anne on the Zero Hour pre-show. Three days later, she lost to Nightingale in a TBS Championship match on Dynamite and disappeared from television again. According to Sapp, that short comeback was essentially all AEW had planned for her at the time: a quick victory before putting over Nightingale, rather than the start of another extended run.
Until AEW finds a lasting plan for her, it seems every public mention of Kamille will keep raising the same question from fans.
