Indi Hartwell is open to reuniting with Samuel Shaw now that both wrestlers are signed to TNA — and she says fans have never stopped asking for it. The former on-screen couple, beloved as “InDex” during their WWE NXT run, could finally get the closure their story never received.

Indi Hartwell Samuel Shaw TNA reunion talk comes from a new interview with Joey Karni, where Hartwell spoke warmly about the storyline that defined her early career. With both stars now on the same roster again, the door is open for a reunion fans have demanded for years.

Indi Hartwell Says InDex Never Got Closure

Hartwell and Shaw — who performed as Dexter Lumis in WWE — were paired together in NXT as part of The Way, with the two even getting married on an episode of NXT. The quirky romance became a fan favourite, but the storyline was left hanging when their time in WWE ended.

“I think it’s something that a lot of people want to see,” Hartwell said. “Anytime I’m at a signing or a convention or a show, someone will bring up how they loved InDex. It’s even years later, it’s something that is always brought up.”

She went further, calling it the most fun she has had in her career. “For me, it’s probably the most fun I’ve had in my career, and I’m so proud of that storyline. We’re both open to doing something again because I feel like we never really got closure on it. It’s still open. So yeah, I’m interested in doing more with that.”

Why a TNA Reunion Makes Sense Now

The timing could hardly be better. Hartwell is riding high in TNA after capturing the Knockouts Championship at Bound for Glory on October 11, while Shaw is also on the TNA roster. A shared roster removes the biggest obstacle that has kept InDex apart since their WWE days.

For TNA, the reunion would also be smart business. InDex remains one of the most talked-about pairings of the NXT era, and Hartwell’s own words show the demand has not faded with time. Whether it becomes a full storyline or a one-off moment, the interest is clearly there — from the fans, and from Hartwell herself.
