Stephanie Vaquer is officially done with the crutches and ready to get back in the ring. After suffering an ankle injury at Money in the Bank, Vaquer has now confirmed she is cleared to compete — and her road back from that night is finally complete.

In a video posted by WWE, Vaquer dramatically tossed her crutches aside before delivering the news herself, with a direct message for Becky Lynch: “Becky, you wanted to know when I’m cleared? See you Monday.” That sets up a confrontation on the October 26 episode of Monday Night Raw.
Stephanie Vaquer’s Ankle Injury at Money in the Bank
Vaquer has been dealing with the ankle issue since Money in the Bank, where she lost the Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan. Fans became concerned after the match when Vaquer was visibly limping, needed help from referee Jessika Carr, and eventually sat down on the steel steps before heading backstage.
Vaquer later confirmed that she had twisted her ankle during the show. At the time, she played down the severity and said she expected the injury to require only a short period of rest. “I twisted my ankle. It’s not a big deal — just a couple of days of rest,” she said.
The injury was legitimate rather than part of a WWE storyline, but there was optimism from the beginning that Vaquer would not be sidelined for long. What bothered her far more than the ankle itself was losing the championship.
Vaquer’s Disappointment at Losing the Women’s World Title
“But more than anything, I’m very disappointed about that match,” Vaquer said at the time. “I would have loved to be able to do this interview with you with the championship here on my shoulder, but I wasn’t able to retain it.”
Now the injury question is officially out of the way, and Vaquer already has unfinished business waiting for her. Her message to Lynch makes Monday’s Raw the next stop, and fans will not have to wait long to find out what happens when the two come face to face — with the Women’s World Championship picture also looming in the background.
