Former WWE Star Kaylia Capri Injured in Car Accident, Misses Sherri Martel Classic
Capri, who performed as Alexis Gray during her WWE run, was booked for Reality of Wrestling’s Sherri Martel Classic in Texas City, Texas, on October 24. Instead of competing, she spent the day dealing with injuries from a car accident that happened the same day.
On October 25, Capri took to social media to explain what happened and apologize to fans who had turned out to see her. She confirmed her injuries were minor, but admitted she was heartbroken over missing the show.
“To all my fans who came out to support me @TheOfficialROW irl & via YT Yesterday I literally am so sorry. I got into a car accident yesterday. I’m suffering minor injuries but I won’t sit and act like I’m not heart broken,” she wrote.
What’s Next for Kaylia Capri After the Accident
Capri did not explain what caused the crash, whether she needed hospital treatment, or how long she might be out of the ring. She has been working the independent wrestling scene since her September 2023 WWE release, building her career outside the company, and Saturday’s Sherri Martel Classic was another chance to perform in front of fans.
For now, she has not announced when she will wrestle again. The good news is that her injuries are minor — and she was able to walk away from the accident and update fans herself.
