Nikki Bella is already calling her shot ahead of next week’s WWE SmackDown. The former Divas Champion will challenge Chelsea Green for the WWE Women’s Championship on October 30, and she has made it clear she expects to walk out with the title.
Taking to Twitter after the October 23 episode of SmackDown, Bella sent Green a direct warning: “So ready for next week! Oh @ImChelseaGreen AND NEW is whatcha gonna be hearing next week.” The message leaves no doubt about Bella’s confidence heading into the championship match.
Nikki Bella vs Chelsea Green: October 30 SmackDown Title Match
Bella’s challenge was announced shortly after Green survived a chaotic title defense against Roxanne Perez on October 23. That match was anything but straightforward, with Raquel Rodriguez interfering and IYO SKY getting involved to even the odds. Green eventually hit UnprettiHER on Perez to retain her championship.
The chaos did not stop at the bell. Liv Morgan attacked Green after the match, sparking a confrontation involving Rodriguez, Perez, SKY, and Tiffany Stratton. Stratton even attempted to cash in her Money in the Bank contract on Morgan before Judgment Day managed to get Morgan out of the ring.
Why the October 30 Match Could Shake Up Crown Jewel
The timing of Bella’s title shot carries major stakes. Green is already scheduled to face Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan at Crown Jewel on November 7. If Bella takes the WWE Women’s Championship on October 30, WWE’s plans for that champion-versus-champion match could change dramatically.
Bella, however, does not appear interested in those complications. She is focused on becoming champion, and she has already told Green exactly how she expects their match to end. Whether Bella can back up her bold words will be decided next Friday night on SmackDown.
