Hull City drew a third consecutive home game after Dango Ouattara’s equaliser helped Brentford grab a point in a 1-1 draw at the MKM Stadium. The result extends Hull’s unbeaten home record but leaves them frustrated at failing to turn dominance into all three points.

Hull 1-1 Brentford: McBurnie penalty, Ouattara equaliser
The hosts took the lead in the 24th minute after Aaron Hickey failed to collect a pass and fouled Tim Iroegbunam inside the area. Oli McBurnie stepped up and confidently picked out the bottom right corner, scoring his first Premier League goal in over 900 days — even though Caoimhin Kelleher guessed the right direction.
Brentford hit back in the second half, with Ouattara scoring a crucial equaliser to earn the visitors a hard-fought point. The result leaves Brentford sixth in the table, while Hull’s run of home draws continues.
Hull extend unbeaten home record but drop points again
For Hull, the draw keeps their unbeaten record at the MKM Stadium intact, but three straight home draws tell a familiar story: plenty of promise, not quite enough to close games out. Brentford, meanwhile, will be satisfied with a point on the road after falling behind, keeping their strong start to the season on track.
