All Japan Pro Wrestling has unveiled the field for the 2026 Real World Tag League, with 12 teams split into two blocks of six set to battle from November 15 through to the final on December 6 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.

The tournament is one of Japanese wrestling’s most storied tag team competitions, and this year’s field mixes established champions, returning winners, veteran pairings and rising young teams.

AJPW Real World Tag League 2026 Field Revealed

In Block A, the headline team is the current AJPW World Tag Team Champions, the Saito Brothers (Jun Saito & Rei Saito). They will face HAVOC (Xyon & Oddyssey), MUSASHI & Seiki Yoshioka, Go Shiozaki & Suwama, Kento Miyahara & Hyo Ogawa, and Ryuki Honda & Masayuki Kono.

Block B is headed by the 2025 Real World Tag League winners, Ren Ayabe & Talos, competing as the Titans of Calamity. They are joined by Double Yuma (Yuma Anzai & Yuma Aoyagi), Hideki Suzuki & Timothy Thatcher, HAVOC’s second pairing (Shotaro Ashino & Cal Bloom), Kengo Mashimo & Daisuke Sekimoto, and Dan Tamura & Seigo Tachibana.

The presence of two HAVOC pairings — one in each block — adds an intriguing wrinkle, giving the faction two routes to the final. Meanwhile, the Saito Brothers enter as the team to beat, carrying the World Tag Team Championships into a tournament where every other team will be gunning for them.

Teams to Watch in the 2026 Real World Tag League

Several pairings stand out as early favourites. Ayabe and Talos return as defending champions, with a year of momentum behind them. The Saito Brothers bring championship pedigree and power. And the veteran team of Shiozaki and Suwama — two wrestlers with more than 20 years in the business each — offers experience that could prove decisive in a gruelling round-robin format.

At the other end of the spectrum, younger teams such as Double Yuma represent All Japan’s future, while Miyahara teaming with Hyo Ogawa gives one of the promotion’s biggest stars a high-profile partner with plenty of personality. Junior teams like Tamura and Tachibana, and MUSASHI and Yoshioka, will be looking to upset the bigger pairings and announce themselves on a major stage.

The tournament begins on November 15, with the opening night featuring Go Shiozaki and Suwama against the Saito Brothers in Block A action — a heavyweight clash that sets the tone immediately. From there, weeks of round-robin matches will decide which two teams advance to the final at Korakuen Hall on December 6.

For All Japan fans, the Real World Tag League is a highlight of the wrestling calendar: a chance to see the promotion’s tag division at full strength, with established stars, new combinations and genuine surprises along the way. This year’s field suggests 2026 will be no exception.
