Pro Wrestling NOAH has announced the Neo Green Boys recruitment program and league, a new initiative designed to find the promotion’s next generation of wrestlers — and to make them stars before they ever step into a ring for a debut match. The recruitment program will be streamed on NOAH’s YouTube channel and other platforms, turning the search for new talent into a show in its own right.

Pro Wrestling NOAH Neo Green Boys recruitment program
The Neo Green Boys recruitment program is open to men and women aged 16 to 25 who are in good mental and physical shape. Wrestlers already affiliated with other organisations will be excluded from consideration, keeping the focus firmly on fresh faces. The application period runs until November 30, with the first streaming date yet to be announced.
Akihiro Takeda, Director of NOAH’s parent company CyberFight, explained the thinking behind the project: the aim is to encourage a wider range of people with diverse personalities to aspire to become professional wrestlers, for various reasons. Crucially, Takeda wants wrestlers to already be well-known through the program by the time of their debut match — building an audience first, rather than asking newcomers to win one from scratch.
The program also creates a new recruitment route alongside general applications and scouting. Hopefuls who come through the audition can proceed to an entrance test, giving NOAH a structured path from televised hopeful to dojo trainee.
Neo Green Boys judges and final selection
The judging panel brings serious star power. Keiji Muto (Great Muta), Naomichi Marufuji, and Kenoh — listed as a tentative judge — will assess the hopefuls. That is a panel spanning generations of NOAH history, from its most iconic character to its modern standard-bearers, and their involvement alone signals how seriously the promotion is taking the project.
The final judging is set for March 2027. Those who make it past the final selection stage will train at the NOAH Dojo, though the promotion is clear that this does not guarantee a professional in-ring debut. The message is honest: the program opens a door, but earning a place on the roster still has to be done the hard way.
Neo Green Boys League for current NOAH rookies
Alongside the recruitment drive, NOAH has launched the Neo Green Boys League competition for its current rookie wrestlers. The tournament starts on December 5, and its final is scheduled for NOAH The New Year 2027 on January 1 at Korakuen Hall. The final will feature the two wrestlers with the best records in the tournament — and the winner will head overseas.
That overseas prize is a significant incentive. For a young wrestler, international experience can be career-defining, exposing them to different styles, audiences, and expectations. By tying that reward to a league for rookies, NOAH is giving its youngest talent a clear, immediate goal — and giving fans a reason to invest in names they may not yet know.
Together, the two halves of the Neo Green Boys project tell a coherent story: find new talent in public, develop current rookies in competition, and build the next generation of NOAH in front of its audience rather than behind closed doors.
