Touchscreen laptops from reputable brands rarely come cheap, but a limited-time Amazon deal changes that math. The Asus Vivobook S16 is currently 40% off, dropping from its $2,500 retail price to $1,500 — a saving of $1,000 on a versatile 16-inch touchscreen machine built for work and entertainment.

Asus Vivobook S16 Deal: 40% Off on Amazon
The Vivobook S16 is pitched as the ideal everyday laptop, with a size and power balance that suits students, casual users and businesses alike. Its headline feature is a vivid 16-inch OLED touchscreen with 1920 x 1200 resolution and a wide 16:10 aspect ratio. The 120Hz refresh rate keeps fast-moving content smooth, and touchscreen support adds fast scrolling and swiping, plus a stylus pen for sketching or note-taking.
Under the hood, the laptop runs a current-generation AMD Ryzen AI 9 464 CPU with 10 cores and 20 threads, built to handle AI tools and demanding apps efficiently. It pairs that chip with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, while integrated AMD Radeon Graphics cover work and entertainment, though the source notes its limits for serious gaming.
Design, Ports and Everyday Usability
The Vivobook S16 has a sleek silver design with an aluminum lid, measuring 14.06 x 9.87 inches and just 0.63 inches thick, at 3.75 pounds — easy enough to carry in most bags. You also get a responsive backlit keyboard with a numpad, a solid port selection including two USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1, a 3.5mm audio jack and a pair of DisplayPort-compatible USB-C ports, plus Harman Kardon-tuned stereo speakers.
Put together, it is a slick do-it-all laptop that covers productivity, browsing and entertainment in one package. At $1,500 instead of $2,500, the deal is a strong one for anyone shopping for a capable touchscreen laptop, but as with all limited-time offers, it is worth acting before the discount ends.
