Davichi’s Kang Minkyung Road Rage Incident
During the driving lesson, Kang Minkyung guided Jae Hyung Jung on speed control and detailed driving manners. When he pointed out the shaky driving of the car ahead, she admitted, “I’m never angry when I drive,” adding that she does not honk or make sounds because she is “really scared of road rage.”
That fear, she explained, comes from personal experience. Recalling the incident, Kang Minkyung said it was pouring rain that day and a puddle sat nearby. Her car and another vehicle were travelling at almost the same speed when a big pothole appeared in her path, and water splashed onto the other car.
Followed Home After the Puddle Splash
The other driver must have been startled, Kang Minkyung said, but there was nothing she could do — and on the rainy road, she could not even apologize or wave out the window. What happened next turned frightening: the driver followed her all the way home.
“I was only 20 then,” she recalled. “I was so scared to get off in front of my house, so I kept driving circles around until they finally left.” The revelation surprised both Jae Hyung Jung and viewers watching the segment.
Closing the lesson, Kang Minkyung warned her student that not everyone is a considerate driver, stressing that drivers always have to be careful on the road.
