Lee Dong Wook wife films idol coming home to son Woo Jae
Unlike many celebrities who marry fellow stars, Lee Dong Wook found love outside the spotlight. He married a non-celebrity woman six years younger than him, after the pair met over a decade ago through a mutual acquaintance. The couple are now happily married and parents to their first child, Lee Woo Jae.
Lee has been keeping fans up to date on family life through Instagram, frequently posting photos of Woo Jae and occasionally sharing snaps of his wife. He has even opened a dedicated Instagram account for his son, @woojae0220, where the heart-melting homecoming video was uploaded.
In the clip, Lee’s wife films from behind a glass door, her reflection visible as she captures the moment. Waiting on the other side are Woo Jae and the family dog, both ready to welcome dad home after a day at work. According to the post’s caption, Team Mok and Woo Jae are the first to greet him whenever he arrives home.
Lee Dong Wook’s journey from D&T to PLUS M
For newer fans, Lee Dong Wook’s career stretches back further than many realise. He debuted as a member of the boy group D&T in 2008, before re-debuting as a member of PLUS M in 2015. That long road in the industry makes his settled family life all the more meaningful to fans who have followed him for years.
The homecoming video is the latest in a series of family updates that have endeared Lee to supporters, who love seeing the idol in his role as a husband and father. While he keeps much of his private life guarded, these small glimpses, a photo here, a video there, are more than enough to keep fans smiling.
As the clip continues to circulate, one thing is clear: after a long day at work, there is no welcome quite like the one waiting for Lee Dong Wook at home.
