Zendaya, Dinah Jane Headline Celebrity Appearances at WNBA Finals
With so much at stake, both teams chasing their first title, the Finals have become the biggest show in town in both cities, and the stars have followed. While Angel Reese and Gabby Williams provide the star power on the floor, the stands have been packed with famous faces.
The headline moment came at Game 5 in Oakland, where Zendaya was spotted in the house at Ballhalla, Golden State’s home arena, as the Valkyries hosted the Dream. The Valkyries welcomed another music star too, with former Fifth Harmony singer Dinah Jane in attendance, prompting the team’s playful post: “Fifth Game, Fifth Harmony. Welcome to Ballhalla.”
Stars Flock to Dream vs Valkyries Finals
They were far from the only big names in the building across the series. Kerry Washington, Ludacris, Ryan Clark, Dwight Howard, Cam Newton and Lil Baby have all been spotted at Finals games, underlining just how far the WNBA’s cultural reach has grown.
Atlanta, famously the place “where the players play,” and Golden State, a championship city thanks to the Warriors’ seven titles, have both turned the Finals into a celebrity magnet. With a first championship on the line for either the Dream or the Valkyries, expect even more stars courtside before the series is decided.
